For centuries, storytelling has been at the core of human experience, a fundamental way we’ve passed wisdom and knowledge from one generation to the next. Before the written word, stories were the primary medium through which cultures preserved their histories, values, and teachings. This tradition of oral storytelling wasn’t just about entertainment; it was a vital method for embedding important information into the collective memory.
Here’s What Stories Have Given Us

By now you already realised that storytelling is perhaps the single best way to get information to stick – after all, people have been retaining stories and passing them on for thousands of millennia.

Data encryption is a method of converting sensitive information or data into a code to prevent unauthorised access. Encryption algorithms play a crucial role in data security.
Transformed to a Story:
A couple of years ago, one of my students, Sarah, approached me with a story that perfectly exemplifies the real-world impact of what we teach here. As an IT manager for a marketing firm, Sarah was at the forefront of safeguarding sensitive data.
One afternoon, Sarah recounted how a potential data breach had put her firm in jeopardy. The way she described it, it was like a scene straight out of a suspense novel – the tension of impending disaster and the race against time.
