Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI)
CPD is a mandatory requirement for members on the IMI Professional Register. Members on the IMI Professional Register commit to achieving a given number of CPD credits within a three year cycle-the equivalent of about four days of training/ learning per year. Members are required to maintain memberships and status as a registered professional.
Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE)
The IMechE supports the Engineering Councils CPD policy and provides an online CPD recording tool for members to log their experience and professional activities.

As a pan-industry organisation, The Institute of CPD is open to professionals across all fields, and a home to those dedicated to demonstrating professional excellence. Depending on their membership level, a member of the Institute will commit to 10 or 30 hours of CPD per year.
