From The Professional Bodies, Associations, and Institutes for Practitioners in the Property & Surveyors Industry
ROYAL INSTITUTION OF CHARTERED SURVEYORS (RICS)
All members must complete the annual requirements of 20 CPD hours per annum, and keep a record online. RICS members must maintain relevant, current understanding of professional and ethical standards during a rolling 3-year period.
CHARTERED INSTITUTION OF CIVIL ENGINEERING SURVEYORS (CICES)
CICES encourages individual members to choose an approach to CPD that will satisfy their
professional needs and aspirations. Members of ICES have a professional duty to develop their skills and knowledge base and of other practitioners within the profession, and are recommended to attend at least 2 regional CPD events each year.
CHARTERED INSITITUE FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF SPORT AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY - CIMSPA
The CIMSPA requires members to complete their CPD requirements per subscription year, with an average of 10 points per annum.
ASSOCIATION OF PROPOSAL MANAGEMENT PROFESSIONALS - APMP
CPD is a vital part of the APMP Certification Program. APMP certified members must complete 35 hours of CPD every 2 years to maintain APMP certification.
Landscape Institute (LI)
All corporate members of the LI (Licentiate, CMLI and FLI) must complete a minimum of 25 CPD hours per year. This commitment ensures that members continue to develop their professional knowledge and practice. They deliver national and local events, free webinars; they provide an online case study library and technical resources section within their website.
The Institute of CPD
As a pan-industry organisation, The Institute of CPD is open to professionals across all fields, and a home to those dedicated to demonstrating professional excellence. Depending on their membership level, a member of the Institute will commit to 10 or 30 hours of CPD per year.
